47th BCS Viva Result 2026

The 47th BCS Viva Result may be published this week, according to sources at the Bangladesh Public Service Commission (PSC).

The oral examinations, also known as vivas, ended on June 19. The PSC is now making final preparations to publish the results. The constitutional body plans to release the results within the current week if all procedures are completed on time.

According to PSC sources, a Full Commission meeting will be held after the preparation process is finished. The Commission is expected to make the final decision on publishing the results at that meeting.

An official from the PSC’s examination branch said to Rising Barta that there is a possibility that the 47th BCS Final Result 2026 will be released this week. If preparations proceed as planned, a Full Commission meeting could be held on Wednesday or Thursday. The decision to publish the results would be taken during that meeting.

The official added that if the results cannot be published this week for any reason, they are expected to be released on the first day of next week.

PSC Chairman Professor Dr. Mobashwer Monem said the results of the 47th BCS will be published on a day within the current month. He said the Commission is working toward that target.

The PSC published the notification for the 47th BCS on November 28, 2024. The preliminary examination was held on September 19, 2025. The Commission published the preliminary results just nine days later.

The written examination took place from November 27 to December 18, 2025. On April 7, the PSC announced the written examination results. A total of 3,631 candidates were provisionally declared successful and became eligible for the viva examinations.

According to the recruitment notice, 3,688 candidates will be appointed through the 47th BCS. Of them, 3,487 positions are for cadre posts, and 201 are for non-cadre posts.

The publication of the final results will determine which candidates are selected for these government positions. The PSC is expected to announce the results once the Commission completes its approval process.
