The National University has published the results of the 2024 fourth-year undergraduate honors final exam, with an average pass rate of 65.10%.
The results were published on Monday at 5:00 p.m. and are available on the university’s results website. These results correspond to 232,624 candidates who took exams in 31 subjects across 881 faculties.

According to that rate, approximately 151,000 candidates have passed. The university indicates that 65.10 percent is an average, so it’s best to consider that figure as derived from the published rate and not as an official count.
The CGPA result is still to come
For graduating seniors, a passing grade is only half of what they hope for.
The university has announced that the four-year cumulative GPA will be released soon. This is the figure that appears on academic transcripts, is requested by employers, and is used to evaluate admissions to graduate programs.
The date has not yet been announced. Students should not consider Monday’s results as the final outcome.
Two conditions attached
The notice from the Examination Controller’s office includes two important clarifications.
First, the results have been published subject to approval by the Academic Council and the Board of Trustees. This approval has not yet been received.
Second, the university reserves the right to correct any inconsistencies or errors found in the published results, or to invalidate them entirely.
Neither of these conditions suggests a problem. Both are standard practice. However, they do imply that, at this stage, a published result is not immutable.
What students should do now
- Check your result on the university’s results website using your roll and registration details
- Take a screenshot or print your result page, since result servers are heavily loaded in the days after publication
- Wait for the CGPA notice before making applications that require a final grade
- Report any discrepancy to your college promptly rather than waiting, given the university’s stated power to correct errors
Where this sits
This is the third announcement from the National University in two weeks, and the dates are very close together.
The deadline to complete the application form for the first part of the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) program is September 20, with admission confirmation on September 21 and 22. The first-year Honors Bachelor exam, which was postponed, will be held on September 22 at 1:30 p.m. Students should be aware that two exam codes have been published for that date and should compare the code on their admission card with the university’s announcement, rather than relying on any summary.
Furthermore, the special exam approved in August for Honors Bachelor students from the 2013-14 to 2017-18 academic years who failed one or more courses has not yet been scheduled, nor has the application process been announced, and the cost has not been determined. Any information circulating online regarding this exam does not originate from the university.
