Candidates without letters by October 1 will have their cases checked before letters are sent in phases.
Education Minister Dr A N M Ehsanul Haque Milan has set October 1 as the deadline. The deadline covers appointment letters for the 2025 recruitment of assistant teachers in government primary schools.
Successful candidates who do not get letters by then will have their cases checked. The minister said the cases will be examined and verified. Appointment letters will then be sent in phases as soon as possible.
He shared the update in a post on his verified Facebook account on Saturday, September 26.
The minister said confusion is spreading through media reports and Facebook posts. The reports concern the receipt of appointment letters by successful candidates.
He said any successful candidate without a letter by October 1 will have the matter examined. The case will also go through the required checks before the letter is sent.
“We have noticed that confusion is being spread through various media outlets and social media,” he said.
He said the appointment letters would be sent in phases after the cases are checked. He did not give a new date for each phase.
The minister also said verification and vetting are regular steps in government recruitment. Vetting means checks made before a government appointment is completed.
The statement explains what will happen if a candidate does not receive a letter by October 1. Their case will first be examined and verified.
After those checks, the government will send appointment letters in phases as soon as possible. Candidates will then receive their letters based on the outcome of the checks.
