The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is expected to release the BPSC APO Admit Card 2026 shortly on its official website. The admit card is for candidates appearing in the Assistant Prosecution Officer (APO) Preliminary Competitive Examination under Advertisement No. 13/2026. The written examination is scheduled for July 15, 2026.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 300 Assistant Prosecution Officer posts in the Directorate of Prosecution, Home Department, Government of Bihar. Candidates who have completed the application process will be able to download their hall ticket from bpsc.bihar.gov.in by logging in with their registration details after the link becomes active.
The preliminary examination will be held in two shifts. The first shift will take place from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, while the second shift will be conducted from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM. The examination will be organised at centres in Patna, Muzaffarpur, Bhagalpur, Bhojpur, and Nalanda.
BPSC has stated that candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card to the examination centre. They should also bring a valid photo identity card and any other documents required by the Commission. Entry to the examination venue may not be allowed without these documents.
The preliminary examination will be conducted in offline mode using a pen-and-paper format. Question papers will be available in Hindi and English. The test will include two objective-type papers.
Paper I will cover General Studies with 100 multiple-choice questions to be completed in two hours. The paper includes topics such as general knowledge, current affairs, science, history, culture, politics, and geography.

Paper II will focus on Law and will contain 100 multiple-choice questions with a duration of two hours. According to the official examination details, the syllabus includes the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023, Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, 2023, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, the Code of Civil Procedure, 1908, and constitutional law. The law paper carries 150 marks.
The selection process for the recruitment consists of three stages: the preliminary examination, the main examination, and an interview. The preliminary test serves as the first stage of the selection process.
Candidates are advised to regularly check the official BPSC website for the release of the admit card and any further instructions related to the examination. Once released, the hall ticket download link will be available through the Commission’s official portal.
