The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) declared the RRB Group D Result 2026 on 1 July 2026. Candidates who appeared for the recruitment examination can now check their results on the official website, indianrailways.gov.in. The scorecards were also released on the same day.
The recruitment drive aims to fill 32,438 Group D vacancies across various posts in the Indian Railways. Candidates can access their results by entering their roll number or application number along with their date of birth.
The RRB conducted the revised Computer-Based Test (CBT) on 8 and 9 January 2026 and 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 9, and 10 February 2026. Earlier, the online application process was open from 23 January 2025 to 1 March 2025.
Before announcing the results, the board released the answer key on 17 February 2026. Candidates were allowed to raise objections between 17 February and 23 February 2026.
The recruitment covers several Group D posts, including Track Maintainer Grade IV, Pointsman-B, Assistant (Track Machine), Assistant (Bridge), Assistant (C&W), Assistant TRD, Assistant (S&T), Assistant Loco Shed, Assistant Operations (Electrical), Assistant TL & AC, Assistant TL & AC (Workshop), Assistant (Workshop) (Mechanical), and Assistant P-Way.

Among all vacancies, Track Maintainer Grade IV has the highest number with 13,187 posts, followed by Pointsman-B with 5,058 vacancies.
Candidates selected through the recruitment process will receive an initial pay of ₹18,000 per month under Level 1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix, according to the recruitment notification.
The selection process includes four stages: the Computer-Based Test (CBT), the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Document Verification (DV), and a Medical Examination.

- Enter the roll number or application number and date of birth.
- Submit the details to view the result.
- Download and save the scorecard for future use.
