The Non-Government Teachers’ Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA) has sought government approval to publish the 9th teacher recruitment circular for entry-level positions in private schools, colleges, madrasas, and technical educational institutions across Bangladesh.

A source from NTRCA confirmed to Rising Barta that a total of 69,577 teachers will be recruited through the 9th Notice.

An NTRCA official, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said a letter requesting permission to publish the recruitment circular was sent to the ministry toward the end of last week. The official said the circular will be published once the ministry grants approval.

The official also said the authority is not disclosing directorate-wise vacancy figures at this stage.

According to the official, more than 77,000 vacant teaching posts were identified during the initial review. After verification and scrutiny, the number of confirmed vacancies was reduced to 75,769.

Of the confirmed vacancies, 6,000 posts have been reserved for candidates who have successfully passed the 18th Teacher Registration Examination.

The upcoming 9th NTRCA Circular is expected to support the appointment of teachers in private educational institutions across the country. However, the recruitment circular will be issued only after the ministry gives formal approval.

NTRCA has not yet announced the date for publishing the circular or opening the application process.
