Educational institutions must submit applications with supporting documents to the Controller of Examinations for withheld, cross and absent results.

The Mymensingh Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has invited applications to correct the results of candidates whose 2026 Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination results were published as withheld, cross or absent. Concerned educational institutions must submit applications to the Controller of Examinations by November 7.

The board issued the instructions in an official letter sent to the heads of all educational institutions under its jurisdiction. It asked institutions to apply for the publication of corrected results if one or more of their candidates face any of these result issues.

According to the letter, applications must include several supporting documents. These include a written application from the candidate and a forwarding letter signed by the head of the institution, along with the head’s mobile number.

Institutions must also attach certified photocopies of the candidate’s registration card and admit card. Other required documents include a hard copy of the published results collected from the online system, the candidate’s attendance sheet and the practical examination marksheet.

Where and how to submit applications

The board has instructed institutions to prepare two sets of the application and all required documents. They must submit both sets to the Higher Secondary Section on the second floor of Building No. 2 of the Education Board.

The submission address is 42, Khagdohr Bazar, Sadar, Mymensingh.

The board has set November 7 as the final deadline for submitting applications. It has clearly stated that no applications for correction of 2026 HSC results will be accepted after that date.

The notice is important for affected HSC candidates and their institutions. Students should contact their respective institutions to ensure that the required documents are prepared and submitted within the deadline.

The board will consider applications submitted through the concerned educational institutions for the publication of corrected results.
