Notre Dame Applications Close Tomorrow Noon, Tests on 10 and 11 September

Published on: September 8, 2026 10:11 PM

Notre Dame College will close applications for admission to the eleventh grade at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, September 9. Entrance exams will be held immediately afterward: Humanities and Business Studies on Thursday, September 10, and Sciences on Friday, September 11.

The college issued this instruction on Tuesday. Applicants are asked to arrive at the time indicated on their admission card.

Applications opened at 12:01 a.m. on September 1 and are managed through the college website, ndc.edu.bd. The fee is 500 taka, payable via bKash and non-refundable, an increase from 400 taka last semester. After submitting your application, please print your admission card.

Cross-stream candidates sit their own paper

This is the rule most likely to confuse someone, and it works the opposite of what people assume.

A science student applying to Humanities or Business Studies takes the science exam. A business studies student applying to Humanities takes the business studies exam. The exam assesses the student’s previous field of study, not their current one.

The exams follow the SSC 2026 syllabus. Science covers Bengali, English, advanced mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biology. Humanities covers Bengali, English, ICT, and general knowledge. Business Studies covers Bengali, English, accounting, ICT, and general knowledge.

3,290 seats

Science accounts for by far the largest share: 1,810 places taught in Bengali and 320 in English. Business Studies has 750 places and Humanities 410.

The university also indicates that applications from candidates belonging to ethnic minority groups, minority communities, people with disabilities, and students from mission-run schools in remote areas will be considered.

What 10 September means here

The university notice contains a line that is more important than it appears. If a candidate’s score changes after review and they meet the minimum eligibility requirements, they must contact the university office directly within 24 hours of the review results being published.

SSC review results will be published on September 10.

That same day, Notre Dame administers its humanities and business exams, and the day before, its science exam. It is also the national application deadline for 11th grade at 8 p.m.

Therefore, a student whose score improves on the 10th must go to the university office while an exam is being administered, within a deadline that expires the following day. If you have a pending review request and believe a change in your score would allow you to attend the university, find out now who to call and where to go, rather than waiting until the morning.

Notre Dame sits outside the central system

Worth stating plainly, because it decides what else you need to do.

Most admissions to eleventh grade this year are through the centralized online process at xiclassadmission.gov.bd, where a one-time fee of 220 taka covers five to ten colleges, and the board allocates a quota based on merit and preference. Notre Dame is one of the few institutions that admits students through its own process.

Applying through this platform does not replace the centralized application and does not guarantee anything. The national application deadline is 8 p.m. on September 10, and an applicant relying solely on Notre Dame has no other option if the exam does not go well.

Rising Barta will report the Notre Dame admission results when the college publishes them.
