SSC and Dakhil Vocational Result 2026: Date, Candidate Numbers and How to Check

Published On: July 19, 2026 9:50 AM

For the 134,000 students in the vocational track, waiting for the SSC results raises an additional question: does everything said about the SSC results also apply to us? The answer is yes: the SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil (Vocational) results are published together with the overall SSC and Dakhil results, on the same day and through the same system. Here is the complete and verified information.

The Date: July 20 Is Off, Result Expected Within July

First, the news every candidate needs. The results will not be published on Monday, July 20, as planned. Professor Syed Aktaruzzaman, Chairman of the Coordinating Committee of the Inter-Agency Board for Education and Chairman of the Dhaka Board of Education, confirmed on Saturday, July 18, that the administrative workload prevented the preparations from being completed on time.

A new date has not yet been set. The Chairman indicated that the publication will be delayed by a few more days, but not much longer, and he expects the results to be available this month. Once the date is confirmed, it will be officially announced, and vocational candidates will receive their results on the same day as everyone else.

Vocational Candidates by the Numbers

This year, a total of 1,857,344 students filled forms for the SSC and equivalent exams. The breakdown:

  • General SSC (nine education boards): 1,418,398 candidates
  • Dakhil (Madrasah Board): 304,286 candidates
  • SSC (Vocational) and Dakhil (Vocational), under the Bangladesh Technical Education Board: 134,660 candidates

The written exams of the general boards ended on May 20, while the Dakhil and SSC (Vocational) written exams finished on May 24 — which is why the customary 60-day result window covers all streams together.

How to Check the Vocational Result (When It Publishes)

Vocational results appear through the same official channels as the general result:

Online:

  1. Visit the education board results website — educationboardresults.gov.bd or eboardresults.com
  2. Select your exam — SSC/Dakhil (Vocational) — and the year 2026
  3. Choose Technical as the board
  4. Enter your roll and registration numbers, then submit

By SMS: the technical board’s standard format is SSC, then the board code TEC, then your roll number and 2026, sent to 16222 — for example: SSC TEC 123456 2026. The boards confirm the exact formats on result day, and we will publish them the moment the date is announced.

Institutions: technical schools and colleges also receive their students’ results.

After the Result: What Vocational Students Should Plan

Vocational SSC graduates have more options than many realize: HSC (Vocational) and HSC (BM) programs, admission to technical engineering at polytechnics—where vocational training is often an advantage—and the general HSC track. Admission to 11th grade typically opens a few weeks after the results are released, so start thinking about your preferred path now, rather than waiting until results day.

A word of caution for the waiting days: Several unreliable websites are already spreading false claims about the release of results with fabricated dates. The results have not yet been released; any link claiming otherwise before the official announcement is false. Rely only on the websites of the testing boards and reputable news sources.

Rising Barta will publish the confirmed results date, the exact steps for verification, and the vocational pass rates as soon as the testing boards announce them. Stay tuned.
