GPSC Result 2026: The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has released the list of eligible candidates for application scrutiny for two exams. The lists cover the posts of Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil), Class-2, under Notice No. 124/2025-26, and Inspector of Inspection of Building and Other Construction, Class-II, under Notice No. 98/2025-26. The commission published the lists on 25 June 2026.

Candidates who appeared in the preliminary examinations can now check whether their seat numbers are included in the eligible list. Those shortlisted must complete the online document upload process as part of the recruitment procedure.

The Deputy Executive Engineer (Civil) recruitment is for various Municipal Corporations (Mahanagar Palika) in Gujarat. A total of 156 candidates have been declared eligible for application scrutiny for this post.

For the Inspector of Inspection of Building and Other Construction, Class-II post under the Labour, Skill Development and Employment Department, GPSC has declared 189 candidates eligible for application scrutiny.

The preliminary examinations for both recruitment notice included a subject-specific paper held on 3 May 2026 and a General Studies paper conducted on 10 May 2026.

GPSC clarified that the published lists are not the final merit lists. They represent the “List of Eligible Candidates for Application Scrutiny,” also known as the Zone of Consideration. Candidates whose seat numbers appear in these lists have qualified to submit their original documents for verification.

According to the commission, inclusion in the list means a candidate has secured the minimum qualifying marks required for their category in the preliminary examination. Final selection will be based on 50% weightage from the preliminary examination score and 50% weightage from the personal interview (Rubaru Mulakat).

The release of these lists marks the next stage of the recruitment process. Eligible candidates should complete the required document submission within the timeline prescribed by GPSC. The commission will announce further stages of the recruitment process after completing application scrutiny.
