The Vardhman Mahaveer Open University (VMOU), Kota, has declared the Rajasthan PTET 2026 result on 25 June 2026. Candidates who appeared for the Pre Teacher Education Test (PTET) can now access their scorecards through the official PTET portal.
The result was formally announced in Jaipur by Rajasthan Education Minister Dr Prem Chand Bairwa. The university has made the result available on its official website.
Rajasthan PTET 2026 was conducted in offline mode on 14 June 2026. The examination is used for admission to Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programmes in Rajasthan. The answer key for the examination was released shortly after the test.
According to the available data, around 1,26,600 candidates registered for PTET 2026. Of these, about 1,07,575 candidates appeared for the examination.
Candidates can check their results by visiting the VMOU website (ptetvmoukota2026.com) and accessing the dedicated PTET 2026 portal. The scorecard contains important details, including marks obtained and rank information, which will be used during the admission process.

The declaration of the result marks the start of the counselling process for admission to B.Ed. courses across Rajasthan. Candidates who secure the required qualifying marks will be eligible to participate in counselling.
For PTET 2026, candidates from the General and Economically Weaker Section (EWS) categories must obtain at least 50 per cent marks to qualify. Candidates from other reserved categories are required to secure a minimum of 45 per cent marks.
Apart from the two-year B.Ed. programme, qualified candidates can also seek admission to integrated four-year courses such as B.A. B.Ed. and B.Sc. B.Ed. These programmes combine undergraduate studies with teacher training.
Officials have advised candidates to carefully review college options during counselling. Applicants are encouraged to study the available college details before locking in their preferences, as choices cannot be changed later.
The counselling schedule, registration process, choice filling dates, and seat allotment details are expected to be released by the authorities after the result announcement. Admission will be based on merit rank, category, candidate preferences, and seat availability.
