MPSC Group A Result 2026

The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released the MPSC Group A Result 2026. Candidates can now check the eligible and ineligible candidate lists for the post of Zilla Sainik Welfare Officer / Deputy Director (Group-A). The recruitment is being conducted under Advertisement No. 004/2026.

The update applies to candidates who submitted their online applications between 20 March 2026 and 9 April 2026. The published lists confirm whether applicants have cleared the application scrutiny stage and can move forward in the recruitment process.

According to MPSC, the recruitment drive aims to fill 21 vacancies in Maharashtra. Candidates can verify their status by checking the official eligible and not eligible candidate list PDFs released by the commission.

The eligible candidate list includes applicants whose application forms and supporting documents met the prescribed requirements. These checks covered factors such as age, category claims, ex-servicemen service records, rank certificates, and Marathi language proficiency.

Candidates whose names or application details appear in the eligible list will be allowed to participate in the next stage of the selection process. This may include a screening test, interview, or any further assessment notified by MPSC. However, inclusion in the eligible list does not guarantee final selection.

MPSC has also published a list of not eligible candidates. This contains the details of applicants whose forms were rejected during scrutiny. The commission has provided reasons for rejection of the concerned applications.

Common grounds for rejection include incomplete documents, failure to meet rank requirements, missing proof of Marathi language knowledge, and age or category-related discrepancies. Candidates who believe an error has been made should review the official notification and check whether any objection or grievance process is available.

In certain cases, officers holding the rank of Lieutenant or equivalent may also be considered if candidates of the required rank are not available.

Candidates are advised to download the official PDFs and verify their application or roll number carefully. MPSC is expected to announce the next stage of the recruitment process through future notifications.
