The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee has warned that action will be taken against institutions and their heads if they collect unauthorised fees from candidates.
The Inter-Education Board Examination Controllers’ Committee has warned educational institutions against charging extra fees for filling out forms for the HSC and equivalent supplementary examinations. Institutions found collecting additional fees may face legal action, according to an official letter issued on Friday, November 6.
The letter was sent to the principals of all educational institutions at the HSC level. It followed complaints from different sources that some institutions were collecting extra money from candidates in the name of examination form submission.
The committee clearly stated that no additional fees can be collected from any candidate for filling out the forms for the HSC and equivalent supplementary examinations.
It also warned that legal action would be taken against both the head of the institution and the institution itself if the instruction was not followed.
The letter further directed all educational institutions to follow the instruction with utmost seriousness.
The warning is important for HSC candidates and their families across Bangladesh. It aims to prevent students from facing extra financial pressure during the examination form submission process.
Educational institutions have been instructed to follow the directive. Any violation may result in legal action against the responsible authorities.
