The HSC English 1st Paper Exam is scheduled to be held across Bangladesh today, Monday (July 6, 2026). The examination will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 1:00 pm under the General Education Boards and the Bangladesh Madrasah and Technical Education Board (BMT).
Candidates have been instructed to enter their examination centres at least one hour before the exam starts. According to the examination schedule, OMR answer sheets will be distributed at 9:30 am, while question papers will be handed out at 10:00 am.
Students must carry both their admit card and registration card to the examination centre. Candidates without these documents will not be allowed to enter the centre or sit for the examination.
The HSC and equivalent examinations began on July 2, 2026, with the Bangla First Paper. The English First Paper is the next major subject in the examination routine.

This year, a total of 1,270,583 candidates have registered for the HSC and equivalent examinations under 11 education boards across the country. Among them, 621,969 are male students and 648,614 are female students.
The examinations are being held at 2,697 centres nationwide.
According to the official examination routine, the HSC English Second Paper examination is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, July 8, 2026.
Authorities have advised all candidates to follow the examination instructions carefully and arrive on time to ensure a smooth entry into their respective examination centres.
