The results of this year’s Primary Scholarship Examination will be published today, Sunday (July 12, 2026), according to the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education.
A press conference will be held at 12:00 noon at the International Mother Language Institute conference room to announce the results. Education and Primary and Mass Education Minister Dr. A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon and State Minister for Primary Education Bobby Hajjaj are expected to attend the event.
The announcement was confirmed in a press release issued on Saturday by the ministry’s Senior Information Officer, Abdullah Shibli Sadiq.
Students will be able to check their results in two ways after the official publication.
According to a Teletalk notice issued on Wednesday (July 8), candidates can receive their results by SMS. They need to open the message option on their mobile phone, type DPE, leave a space, enter their roll number, and send the message to 16222. For example: DPE 123456.
The results will also be available online. Students can check them by visiting the official result website and entering their roll number, district, and upazila information.
More than 640,000 students took part in this year’s Primary Scholarship Examination. Among them, about 550,000 were from government primary schools, while around 90,000 were from private kindergartens.
A total of 82,500 students will receive scholarships this year. Of them, 66,000 students will be selected under the government primary school quota, and 16,500 students will receive scholarships under the private or kindergarten quota.
Among the selected students, 33,000 will be placed in the Talent Pool category and 49,500 will receive General Grade scholarships.
Students in the Talent Pool will receive a monthly stipend of Tk 300 along with a one-time annual grant of Tk 225. General Grade recipients will receive Tk 225 per month and a one-time annual grant of Tk 225.
The scholarship benefits will continue for two years, covering students during Classes Six and Seven under the government’s financial assistance programme.
