The Primary Scholarship Result 2026 will be published on Thursday (July 9), bringing an end to the wait for more than 600,000 primary students across Bangladesh. The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) released the results as scheduled, allowing successful candidates to check their scholarship status through the official online portal.
Update: The authority is working on the server to make the result live. Students are advised to wait for a few minutes.
According to the DPE, students from government primary schools and registered kindergarten institutions can now view their results by entering their examination roll numbers on the official result portal. At the time this report was published, the website was operating normally.
The DPE had earlier announced that the scholarship examination results would be published on July 9 at 10:00 AM. Officials said students would be able to verify their merit status online using their roll numbers.
The publication of the results brings relief to thousands of students and parents who had been waiting for the scholarship list after the examination process ended.
Students can check the Primary Scholarship Result 2026 by visiting ipemis.dpe.gov.bd. They need to select the Primary Scholarship Examination option, choose the examination year, enter the roll number exactly as shown on the admit card, and click the submit button. The scholarship status will then appear on the screen. Students are advised to download, print, or save a screenshot of the result for future use.
The online process usually takes only a few minutes. However, students may experience slower access if many users visit the website at the same time. In that case, they are advised to wait briefly and try again.
The DPE also provides an SMS service for checking results. Students can type DPE Thana Code Roll Number and send the message to 16222. After the message is processed, eligible students will receive their scholarship status on their mobile phones.
The Primary Scholarship Examination for the 2025 academic year was held from April 17 to April 20, 2026. More than 600,000 students from government primary schools and registered kindergarten institutions across Bangladesh took part in the examination.
Students selected for the scholarship will move forward under the government’s primary scholarship programme, which recognises outstanding academic performance at the primary level. Those who have not yet checked their results can use either the online portal or the SMS service and should keep a copy of theirh result for future admission and scholarship-related purposes.
