The Ipemis Primary Scholarship Result 2026 for the academic year 2025 is set to be published today, Thursday (July 9). The Directorate of Primary Education (DPE) said all preparations for releasing the results have been completed.
According to the Directorate, Primary and Mass Education Minister A N M Ehsanul Haque Milon will officially announce the results at a press conference at the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education in the Secretariat this morning.
A total of 82,500 students will receive scholarships this year. Among them, 66,000 scholarships will go to students from government primary schools, while 16,500 will be awarded to students from private primary schools and kindergartens.
The scholarships will be given under two categories: Talentpool and General. A total of 33,000 students will receive Talentpool Scholarships, while 49,500 students will receive General Scholarships.
The Primary Scholarship Examination was held across the country from April 15 to April 18, 2026, except in the three hill districts. In Rangamati, Khagrachhari, and Bandarban, the examination took place under a separate schedule from April 17 to April 20.
More than 640,000 students took part in this year’s examination. Of them, around 550,000 were from government primary schools, while about 90,000 were from private primary schools and kindergartens.
According to the Directorate of Primary Education, scholarship recipients were selected based on merit as well as district and upazila quotas. The scholarship ratio is one scholarship for every eight students from government primary schools and one scholarship for every 5.5 students from private primary schools.
Students will be able to check their Primary Scholarship Result and download their marksheets through two official methods after the results are published.
The online service will be available through the IPEMIS Portal. Students can check their results by entering their roll number, district, and upazila information on the official platform.
The Directorate also said the results will be available through mobile SMS. The SMS format and code are being finalized in consultation with Teletalk. The official procedure will be announced through a notice after the results are published.
Students selected for the Talentpool Scholarship will receive Tk 300 per month and a one-time annual grant of Tk 225. Students receiving the General Scholarship will receive Tk 225 per month along with a one-time annual grant of Tk 225.
According to the Directorate, students who receive scholarships will continue to receive these financial benefits for the next two years after passing the fifth grade.
