Students who missed the application deadline or had changed SSC results can apply or update their choices.
Students who could not apply online for Class XI admission in the 2026–2027 academic year have another chance to apply. Students whose SSC or equivalent results changed after re-scrutiny can also apply again or update their applications.
The Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee said the revised results have been added to the Class XI admission portal. The new opportunity will remain open until 8:00 PM on September 12 and September 13.
Students who did not apply by September 10 can submit a new application during this period. Students who already applied can also change their applications, including their choice order.
The online admission process started on September 2. Admission will be based on merit ranking from SSC and equivalent examination results. No admission test will be held. The application fee is Tk 220.
Under the admission rules, a student can choose at least five and up to 10 colleges or equivalent institutions. Students can change their choice order until 8:00 PM on September 12 and September 13.
The first-phase admission results will be published at 8:00 PM on September 16. Students selected in this phase must confirm their admission by 8:00 PM on September 18.
If a selected student does not complete confirmation within the deadline, the selection and application will be cancelled. The migration results, based on the order of preference, will be published at 8:00 PM on September 19.
The next stage of the admission process will run from September 20 to September 22. Classes for newly admitted Class XI students will begin on September 23.
The admission policy also sets rules on who can apply. Students who passed the SSC or equivalent examination in the year of the results and the previous two years are eligible to apply.
Students who passed examinations under foreign education boards can also apply. However, they must first have their certificates assessed for equivalence through the Dhaka Education Board.
This year, students will also be allowed to change their academic group during admission. Science students can apply for Science, Humanities, or Business Studies.
Students from Humanities and Business Studies can apply to their own group and to each other’s group. Students from all groups can also apply for Islamic Studies, Home Science, and Music.
Students from the Technical and Madrasah Education Boards can apply to relevant groups under the general education boards, according to the admission policy.
The additional application period gives students affected by changed results or missed applications another opportunity to take part in the admission process. The next major step will be the publication of the first-phase results on September 16.
