DCU Arts and Social Sciences Admission Results Published

The admission test results for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Unit of Dhaka Central University for the 2025–26 undergraduate (Honours) first-year admissions have been published.

The results were released after 9:00 PM on Sunday, July 12, through the university’s admission website. Candidates can check their results by logging in with their serial number and password.

The admission test for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Unit was held on Saturday, July 11. During a visit to Dhaka College on the examination day, Dhaka Central University Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nurul Islam said that the attendance rate was about 90 percent.

This year, the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Unit is offering 4,498 seats. A total of 23,365 candidates applied for admission. According to the Vice-Chancellor, this means there were about five applicants competing for each seat.

Dhaka Central University has been formed with the government’s seven colleges in the capital. The university is conducting admission tests for the 2025–26 academic session across its different faculties.

The remaining admission tests will be held on July 17. The Science Unit examination is scheduled from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The Business Studies Unit examination will take place from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Candidates who appeared for the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences admission test can now access their results through the official admission portal, while applicants for the remaining units are preparing for their examinations later this week.
