Male students must keep their hair between 0.5mm and 1.5mm to complete the registration process scheduled for November 5.
Kabi Nazrul Government College in Dhaka has introduced a hair length requirement for male students ahead of biometric registration. Students who fail to follow the rule will not be allowed to complete their registration.
The college issued the directive in a notice on Wednesday, November 4. The instructions apply to first-year higher secondary students of the 2026–2027 academic session who have not yet completed their biometric registration.
According to the notice, registration will take place on Thursday, November 5, from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Students must wear their college uniforms and bring their identification cards.
The notice sets the required hair length for male students at between 0.5 millimetres and 1.5 millimetres. Those who do not meet this requirement will be refused biometric registration.
Department-wise Registration Schedule

Science students must report to rooms B-120 and A-210. Humanities students will complete their registration in room B-112, while Business Studies students must go to rooms B-501 and B-601.
Seminar assistants will conduct the registration under the supervision of teachers from the college’s Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department.
Manual Attendance Requirement
The college has also issued instructions about attendance during the registration process. According to the notice, students must mark their attendance manually in room A-110.
Students who fail to record their attendance at the designated room will not be counted as present.
