Chittagong Board HSC Exam 2026 Update: The Chittagong Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education has postponed Saturday’s Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examination due to severe weather and the worsening flood situation. The exam was scheduled for Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The decision was announced in a notice signed by the board’s Controller of Examinations, Professor Dr. Md. Parvez Sazzad Chowdhury, on Friday, July 10.

According to the notice, the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) examination (Subject Code 275), which was scheduled to take place on Saturday, July 11, has been postponed in all districts under the Chattogram Education Board.
The board said the decision was taken because weather conditions have deteriorated and flooding has worsened across the region.

The notice also said many areas are facing power outages. As a result, officers-in-charge of examination centres have been instructed to use loudspeakers to inform residents about the postponement. The board said a revised examination schedule will be announced later.
This is the second time HSC examinations have been postponed under the Chattogram Board because of the ongoing weather situation. Earlier, the HSC, Alim, and equivalent examinations scheduled for July 8 were postponed due to heavy rainfall and flooding. The English Second Paper examination was due to be held on that day.
The postponement affects all five districts under the Chattogram Education Board: Chattogram, Cox’s Bazar, Rangamati, Khagrachhari, and Bandarban.
The latest decision means students in these districts will have to wait for a new date for the ICT examination. The education board said the revised schedule will be announced in a separate notice.
