MPO Teacher Transfer Application Deadline

The deadline applies to teachers whose records were corrected in the second phase.

The deadline for MPO-listed teachers to apply for transfers ends today, Sunday, September 13. The Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education, or DSHE, issued the notice on Saturday.

The current chance is mainly for teachers whose records were fixed in the second phase. No new transfer request will be taken after today based on those corrected records.

The DSHE said the transfer application period runs from September 12 to September 13. Only teachers with corrected records in the second phase can apply in this period.

Teachers who applied in the first phase cannot apply again. They also cannot change their old application in the second phase.

Institution Data Check Is on Hold

The DSHE also gave a notice to heads of schools and colleges. It said the process of sending data for local checks is now on hold.

The data includes teacher details and lists of empty posts. Heads of schools and colleges cannot send this data while the current transfer process is open.

The check is done at the upazila or zone level. The DSHE said the process will start again later.

Transfer Work May Finish This Week

The DSHE said it does not plan to extend the deadline after September 13. It also plans to finish the teacher transfer work within this week.

Teachers will get 10 days to complete the transfer process, according to the DSHE information.

The authority also plans to finish the main work soon after applications close. DSHE Director General Professor Dr Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel gave the update to The Daily Campus.

He said the office plans to finish the transfer work within two to three days after applications close. He also said there is no plan to delay the process.

The goal is to complete the transfers as soon as possible, he said.

What Teachers Should Know

September 13 is the last day for eligible teachers to apply. This phase is only for teachers whose records were fixed in the second phase.

Teachers who applied in the first phase cannot file a new request now. They also cannot edit their old request during this phase.

Heads of schools and colleges also need to note the current change. They cannot send teacher data or empty-post lists for local checks at this time.

The DSHE will give a new notice when that check process starts again. After the application period ends, the transfer work will move to the next stage.
